At Speech Score, we take your privacy seriously. We believe you should have full control over your data. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

🎤 Audio Data

We do NOT store your audio recordings.

When you record or upload audio, we:

  • Temporarily upload it to secure cloud storage (Cloudflare R2)
  • Send it to AssemblyAI for transcription
  • Delete the audio file immediately after transcription completes
  • Never share, sell, or retain your audio recordings

📝 Transcripts

We save your speech transcripts by default so you can review your history and track progress. However, you have full control:

  • You can delete individual transcripts at any time
  • You can disable transcript storage in your privacy settings
  • When disabled, we only save your scores and metrics

📊 Data We Collect

Account Information:

  • Email address
  • Name (if provided)
  • Authentication tokens (securely stored by Supabase)

Analysis Data:

  • Speech metrics (WPM, filler count, clarity score, etc.)
  • Transcripts (optional - can be deleted or disabled)
  • Analysis timestamps

Usage Data:

  • Number of analyses performed
  • Browser type and version (for compatibility)
  • General usage patterns (to improve the product)

🔐 How We Protect Your Data

  • Encryption: All data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and at rest
  • Secure Storage: Data is stored on Supabase with enterprise-grade security
  • Limited Access: Only authorized personnel can access user data
  • No Data Selling: We never sell or rent your personal information

🤝 Third-Party Services

We use the following trusted services:

  • AssemblyAI - Speech-to-text transcription

    Processes audio temporarily, does not store it

  • Supabase - Database and authentication

    Stores your account and analysis data securely

  • Cloudflare R2 - Temporary audio storage

    Audio is deleted immediately after processing

  • Vercel - Hosting and deployment

    Provides secure, fast website hosting

  • MailerLite - Email communications

    Sends product updates (you can unsubscribe anytime)

  • Access: View all your data at any time in your account
  • Delete: Delete individual analyses or your entire account
  • Export: Download your data (coming soon)
  • Opt-out: Unsubscribe from emails at any time
  • Control Transcripts: Delete or disable transcript storage
